Murphy has revealed that clues about the fifth season’s theme have been scattered throughout the fourth season, and that the previous four seasons are all connected by some common threads.
The fourth installment of the franchise, “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” recently lost (Feb. 23) a cast member, Ben Woolf, to a freak jaywalking accident with the cast tweeting their condolences for the actor cast as “Meep” from Freak Show. “He was a tremendous professional and an incredibly kind person, beloved by the ‘American Horror Story’ family,” FX and the show’s producers said in a statement.
Season 5 will premiere this October.
“AHS” was created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk and is produced by 20th Century Fox Television for FX Network.
