Daytime talker Ellen DeGeneres says she enjoys married life with actress Portia de Rossi.
“So far it’s been 25 days…I’m very happy. I introduced her as my first wife,” DeGeneres said.
When Mario Lopez of Extra asked if the couple has thought about having kids, DeGeneres joked, “We have thought about kids. Not for us, but we have thought about kids.”
As for spending time with good friends, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale and their newborn son Zuma Nesta Rock, DeGeneres commented, “I was holding Zuma this weekend. And all I kept doing was [singing] ‘All I want to do is a Zuma Zuma zoom and shake your rump,” DeGeneres joked.
As for having any favorite baby names, DeGeneres laughed, “We’ve thought of names, ironically…Jumbo Shrimp is good.”
The Jonas Brothers joined DeGeneres as she hosted a party to celebrate her show’s season premiere and new set on the Warner Bros. lot. A big fan of the pop group, DeGeneres declared, “They really are good kids. They appreciate everything still… That’s a good age. I would adopt the Jonas Brothers.”
As for the season’s first guest, Michelle Obama, DeGeneres said, “She’s tall. That was my first impression….She’s lovely. Her kids were here and they were as sweet as can be.”
