Reality TV star and Calabasas/Miami retailer Khloe Kardashian is grabbing some of the spotlight away from her pregnant unmarried sister Kourtney and brooding sister Kim.
E! network, home of the Khloe and Kourtney do Miami reality series, announced the tall Kardashian is dating Laker star Lamar Odom.
Odom has some bank. His new Laker deal made headlines: “I always wanted to come back because we won the championship,” Odom told ESPN.
“I’m playing for the biggest brand in the world. And I’m playing with the most fluid, talented center in the world in Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum’s coming back and of course Kobe Bryant.
“But to now get an opportunity to play with Ron Artest, a guy I’ve known 16 years, it means a lot. I told Ron Ron a few weeks ago I couldn’t walk away. I still had to fight. Every time negotiations didn’t go the way I thought, I just took a step back, like them pulling the offer off the table, I just knew I had to fight.”
ESPN.com reported that Odom and the Lakers in July agreed to a four-year deal worth up to $33 million if the Lakers exercise their option on the fourth season.
Odom reportedly was guaranteed $27 million from the new contract, matching the original value of the three-year, $27 million deal Lakers owner Jerry Buss pulled off the table earlier this month.
Earlier this year, Khloe broke up with Minnesota Timberwolves star Rashad McCants
The new couple were spotted at Khloe’s step-brother (and recent taser victim) Brody Jenner’s birthday party, and then at an LA club.
“They spent the night dancing and holding hands,” an eyewitness told E!. “They never left their booth. He was holding her hand and every time a good song came on she would pull him up to dance and steal kisses here and there. There is no denying the chemistry between those two.”Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
