Kevin Costner welcomes third son, Cayden Wyatt

Kevin Costner and wife Christine have welcomed a healthy baby boy.

Costner’s third son, Cayden Wyatt Costner weighed 7-pounds, 14-ounces when he was born at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at an undisclosed Los Angeles area hospital, Costner publicist Paul Bloch said Monday.

“Both mother and son are doing well,” Bloch said, adding the baby has dark hair.

Costner, 52, and his 33-year-old wife married in September 2004. Cayden Wyatt is the actor’s fifth child and the first for Christine Costner, Bloch said.

Like Carmen Electra, Costner is an American of Irish, German, and Cherokee ancestry, who has three children with former first wife, Cindy Silva.

His three children, Lily a current Wesleyan University student, Joe, a freshman at Colorado State, and Annie who graduated from Brown University in 2006, were the children of his first union which dissolved in 1994 after 16 years of marriage.

He also has a son, Liam, born in 1996 with Bridget Rooney, revealed by blood tests.

Costner won an Oscar for directing in 1980 for “Dances With Wolves.”
