Kelsey Grammer and Wife Kayte Expecting Another Baby

Kelsey Grammer and Wife Kayte Expecting Another Baby –

Late in life fatherhood seems to please actor Kelsey Grammer, as the TV star and his wife Kayte are expecting another child.

People got the scoop that Grammer and his wife, Kayte, are expecting their second child.

Grammer told Access Hollywood Live, “I think we’ll have at least two more, if not three or four. I think it’s a great way to live a life.”

The fallout of Grammer’s divorce to his former wife Camille was prolonged and publicly painful. Now that he and Kayte were married in 2011, it seems like happier times for the actor, especially after their first child Faith was born.  Camille went on to reality TV, and bowed out after a few season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo.

Grammer has other older children, Spencer, 30; Greer, 22; Mason, 12; and Jude, 9. Grammer is also a grandfather. Spencer, his eldest child, has a son.

A veteran of iconic shows like “Cheers’ and “Frasier,” and most recently “Boss” for Starz, Grammer has won three Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actor and is a five-time Emmy Award winner.

In 2013, HuffPo reported that the cast of “Frasier” gathered together for a reunion hosted by “Good Morning America” and Entertainment Weekly. Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Peri Gilpin and Jane Leeves were all on hand to reminisce about the classic sitcom, which ended in 2004 after 11 years on NBC.

Grammer shared that his character, Dr. Frasier Crane, was not something he wanted to continue. He revealed that at first he wasn’t completely on-board with the “Cheers” spinoff.

“Well my initial feelings were that Frasier should die with Cheers,” Kelsey Grammer said. Luckily, that didn’t happen.

On the other hand, the show immediately spoke to John Mahoney, who Frasier and Niles’ father Martin Crane. “The script was so brilliant I’d be an idiot to turn it down,” Mahoney said. “Plus, to work with Kelsey meant a great deal to me.”

Also revealed was that Roz was originally supposed to be played by Lisa Kudrow. But at the last minute, the role went to Peri Giplin.

Grammer will be playing Harold Attinger in the upcoming movie “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”
