Kelsey Grammer is set to once again take on the role of Ebenezer Scrooge this time for the indie satire An American Carol. The film is directed by Scary Movie 4’s David Zucker.
Variety reports Grammer (who played Scrooge in the NBC-Hallmark production of “A Christmas Carol” in 2004) will portray a modern-day Ebenezer for the new film – which will be a satire on contemporary American culture.
It was written by Zucker with Myrna Sokoloff. The film is being financed by Zucker and Stephen McEveety. It is set to start shooting on Feb. 28 in Los Angeles.Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
