The original “American Idol” Kelly Clarkson has downplayed her reported feud with music producer/icon Clive Davis and her label. She has also stated the issue is being overblown in the press.
Clarkson, 25, spoke with AP Television news about the reported feud with her label and stated the media has been exaggerating the “argument” that she had with Davis.
Rumors started hitting the Internet and news agencies that Davis disliked what he heard on Clarkson’s third studio album ‘My December.’ Early reports stated the album had been delayed indefinitely, but it is now expected to be released in July.
The singer, who won the title in the first edition of “American Idol” in 2002, has stated the album is “no different from my other records” and that her goal with it was to “have people like my music, come out to shows.”
