Juliette Lewis to star in Fool For Love in the West End

***image2:left***London: Juliette Lewis is set to make her London stage debut in Sam Shepard’s Fool For Love. The play, directed by Lindsay Posner, will begin previews at the Apollo Theatre on June 7th and officially open on June 13th.

Lewis has starred in such films as Natural Born Killers, Kalifornia, Cape Fear (Oscar Nomination), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, From Dusk Till Dawn, and The 4th Floor.

Fool For Love premiered Off-Broadway in 1983 and then in London in 1984. It was most recently revived in 1996 at the Donmar Warehouse.

The play is set in a seedy motel room in southern California, where May and Eddie go back beyond their adult lives, back to the legacy of their parents and their parents before. As they challenge each other’s versions of events, what emerges through broken images and scraps of remembered colours is a childhood which defines the rest of their lives.
