Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have welcomed their second daughter into the world.
The couple have a daughter, Violet, 3.
Garner’s publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnick revealed to People magazine: “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.”
People reports that Garner took it easy the weeks leading up to the birth, and was busy picking up Violet from preschool. Before giving birth, Garner was spotted with Violet at the Farmer’s Market in Pacific Palisades.
Garner may have been out of the spotlight for awhile, but that has not precluded her from the Forbes’ “Power 100″ list of celebrities.
In 2005, she placed at 70th in the list, earning around $14 million.
Garner reportedly negotiated a sweet back-end deal for the 2007 independent film “Juno”, making percentage points on the gross. Her flexibility with her salary earned her $9 million when the film took the box office by storm. The Jason Reitman film won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Diablo Cody and earned three other Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Ellen Page.Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
