Jason Bateman: ‘Tonight, He Comes’ role confirmed

Jason Bateman has been cast opposite Will Smith in the long in development Sony Pictures superhero drama “Tonight, He Comes,” reports Variety.
The premise revolves around a hard-living, middle-aged superhero (played by Will Smith) facing a crisis, and has fallen out of favor with the public, who enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (played by Charlize Theron) of the public relations professional (played by Jason Bateman) who’s trying to fix his image. 

Smith’s Overbrook Productions will produce, director Peter Berg will shoot through spring for a tentative 2008 release, distributed by Columbia/Sony Pictures. Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
