Immigration issues force The View to cancel U.S. tour

Due to unforeseen visa and immigration issues, Scotland’s The View has been forced to cancel their upcoming U.S. March tour – which was to include a stop at this year’s South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

Additionally, the release date of their debut album ‘Hats Off To The Buskers’ (on Columbia Records) will now see US release date of May 8th. The album debuted at #1 in the UK earlier this month. The View is aiming to reschedule their American dates as soon as possible.

The canceled dates include:

03/05 – Toronto, ON – Lee’s Place
03/07 – Chicago, IL – Schuba’s Tavern
03/09 – Seattle, WA – Crocodile Café
03/11 – San Francisco, CA – Slim’s
03/13 – Hollywood, CA – Troubadour
03/15-17 – Austin, TX – SXSW
03/20 – New York, NY – Bowery Ballroom
03/22 – Cambridge, MA – T.T. The Bears
