‘High School Musical’ now on ice

Disney’s monster hit ‘High School Music’ has conquered television, DVD and music. Now the touring live concert is taking its act on ice. Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale April 2nd.
“Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour” is set to open in Lakeland, Fla., on August 31st and will tour more than 100 cities during the next year. The new ice concert is an attempt to give fans a new way to celebrate the “High School Musical” fun, according to information from Disney officials.

The concert is scheduled to feature some of the “world’s most talented skaters” and will showcase music from the “High School Musical” soundtrack, said Nicole Feld of Feld Entertainment – which is the production company responsible for bringing the show to the ice.
