Hemingway moves to big screen

Reuters reports that a biopic on the life of author Ernest Hemingway is in the works. That’ll be a whodunit.

I mean, what could be more thrilling than watching a writer drink himself to death till he eventually shoots himself that is?

The film will be based on the memoir “Papa Hemingway: A Personal Memoir” by A.E. Hotchner.

Reuters states:

“The Gotham Group, a management and production company, and producer Kevin Fortuna have secured rights to Hotchner’s New York Times best-seller. The book explores the last 14 years of the Nobel Prize-winning author’s life, during which he was close friends with Hotchner, now 88.”
