Gwyneth Paltrow gives advice to Pitt and Aniston

Gwyneth Paltrow spoke to Time magazine recently and dished out some advice to former boyfriend Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

“I learned my lesson at 24,” Paltrow says.  “It would be a lot easier on Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston now had they not talked to the press about each other and everything to begin with.”

Paltrow had a very public engagement and break-up with Pitt in 1997 and then went on to another Hollywood heavy-weight Ben Affleck.  She said she didn’t publicize the relationships or talk about them in interviews.

The actress is now married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin and they have a 15-month old daughter, Apple.  They keep their relationship private and even do what they can to not appear in any photos together.

“When I presented at the Oscars last year,” Paltrow tells Time, “everyone would say to me ‘Where’s your husband? Is there trouble in the marriage?’ And I was like; why on earth would I bring my husband?”

She also says: “Our marriage is between us. If we decide to continue being together or not, it’s our business.”
