Good Charlotte celebrates new album with television appearances and world tour

Good Charlotte is set to perform “The River” (the first single off their newly released album ‘Good Morning Revival’ via Epic/Daylight) on a series of late night TV shows: the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” April 9 (NBC TV), “Jimmy Kimmel Live’s” Outdoor stage on April 11 (ABC TV) and the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (CBS TV) April 26.

After their April U.S. TV performances, Good Charlotte will cross the globe with tours of Latin America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan followed by a European tour throughout May and early June. Look for the group – Joel (vocals) and Benji Madden (guitars), Billy Martin (guitars/keyboards), Paul Thomas (bass) and Dean Butterworth (drums) – to announce a full U.S. tour soon.

To celebrate the release of the appropriately titled album ‘Good Morning Revival’ – the band’s fourth studio album – Good Charlotte dropped by the “CBS Early Show” yesterday on a double-decker bus to hand out coffee to fans. The band was also presented with the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award from The Make-A-Wish Foundation, which honors the recipients’ passion and dedication to the Foundation’s mission through wish granting, giving and volunteering with local chapters or the national organization.  The footage can be viewed and downloaded from

In other news, the video for “The River” is now added to MTV2 and Fuse and is currently #7 on MTV’s “Total Request Live” (“TRL”). The video has been on the top 10 of “TRL” for the past 20 days.
