'Star Ocean: The Last Hope' release date announced

Square Enix announced the release date for the upcoming Xbox 360 RPG, Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

Square Enix announced today that STAR OCEAN: THE LAST HOPE for the Xbox 360 will ship in North America on March 3, 2009. A Japanese release date was confirmed for February 19, 2009.

STAR OCEAN: THE LAST HOPE continues the franchise's space opera, blending science fiction with fantasy. The refined gameplay features four party members and team-oriented combat, while maintaining the real-time battle system that has become a trademark of the franchise.

The game's story is as follows: The year is S.D. 10. In the aftermath of World War III, humanity voyages into the stars in search of a new home...and a second chance.
