u need a netflix subscription to watch them so im not sure how much that is but u can figure it out. seeing how im in canada i dont even think i can get a subscription -_- but ya just google it and itll be on there site.

Since the day i did the upgrade i have had nothing but trouble out of my 360. Games freeze up and i even got the 3 light flashing ring of death. as anyone else had a problem.

i think this whole update thing is dumb. microsoft, sony its all the same, with their crappy tricks and gimmicks to spend extra money just to be able to play a game properly

Yeah, let's go to the definition of console game box - A game box you can turn on and play a game with less waiting time than a PC boot and none of the trouble of PCs. A game you enjoy with your friends together in the same room.
It is NOT to be used as a MULTIMEDIA MULTITASKING good for nothing piece of chinese plastic trash. If you want to watch movies go rent them and play from x-box as player, DO NOT modify the bios/firmware of hardware not designed to jump through your hoops. Even blue ray players cost less than your box today, if you don't want games why did you buy it ?
For me it's CRUCIALLY important that the box be reliable and fast playing games OFFLINE. All the online players are there to cheat and raise their chin high for it. DO NOT modify the bios/firmware to include spam, online content that will cost you extra money or to be able to stick a tongue at your friends saying look ain't I 1337 ??? You can do that on your instant messenger free.
It's true some techies change chips and use it for an external HD backup device, man you must be rich cause 1TB drives sell around $99 anywhere now.
