It’s a marked departure from Electronic Arts’ usual approach to the sport of boxing, but FaceBreaker, as the name implies, is set to deliver a pugilistic experience that’s a little more tongue in cheek -- or should that be glove through cheek? Well, from what we can gather via EA’s initial blurb about FaceBreaker, it will include all the trademark speed and power of the publisher’s critically acclaimed Fight Night series, but will its blistering brutality offset by Pixar-esque brawlers boasting as much egoistic character as throbbing muscle.Oh, and the gameplay will also come with a wildly exaggerated ‘face breaking’ deconstruction mechanic that looks as though its inspiration lies firmly in the Looney Tunes camp.Want to sneak a peek at the debut trailer?
