well its 2008 now and i still have alot of friends with broken xbox 360 consoles and one guy i know has sent his back 3 times for repair.
while microsoft accept the cost or repair the shipping is left for the custumer to pick up.
I think he said the same thing about every windows version hes ever released. LIES
so what, 2 years? after release and Microsoft have just figured out how to keep their consoles running for more than 3 months. Sweet purchase, the only thing that would make it better would be if I had to pay extra to be able to charge my controllers, pay extra to get a wireless network card and pay extra to get a HD-DVD player.......Oh wait!
American car manufacturers are getting it right, why can't American video game manufacturers get it right as well. It took me almost a whole month to get mine back. I won't go through that again, because I'm trading it in for a PS3.
