Sierra Entertainment announced today that TimeShift will be available on Xbox 360 and PC this October 30th. TimeShift will make its debut on the PLAYSTATION 3 in December.
The pre-order campaign kicks-off at select retailers nationwide this week and features an exclusive playable character for the multiplayer game.
TimeShift is a first person shooter that equips players with the ultimate weapon – Time. The megalomaniacal Dr. Krone has created a disturbing alternate reality. Armed with the experimental Beta Suit, players can SLOW, STOP, and REVERSE the flow of time itself. By perfecting this ability players will work to overthrow Krone's rule and end his madness.
“TimeShift innovates on the FPS genre by allowing gamers to manipulate time and interact with the game environment and characters in ways never before seen in a video game,” said Al Simone, Sierra Entertainment.

I've always resisted the pressure generated by new, tantalizing games to upgrade to a new PC. I don't really need a new PC to do my two main sitdown things, which are to write and play excellent FPS games that don't necessarily have to be hot off the presses for me to enjoy them.
However, ID games never disappointed me. ID was the progenitor of my gaming passion with their groundbreaking Wolfenstein3D.
I give up! I'll buy a state-of-the-art PC just to play this game (and HL3). Just don't ask me to buy a PS-X-whatever-box.
You just can't aim with them bozoboxes... really aim! Mouseaim. I even have to slow down and sometimes stop my breathing when I mouseaim, just in real life on the target range.
Nothing can beat that. Know what I mean?
Boxes are really out for me, Halo 3 be damned!
Full speed ahead!
