The uDraw GameTablet for Wii is now available at retailers across North America.
THQ today announced the uDraw GameTablet, a first-of-its-kind accessory developed exclusively for Wii, is now available at retailers across North America.
The uDraw GameTablet incorporates a 4-by-6-inch drawing space and pressure-sensitive stylus designed to offer more subtle control and precision than available on the traditional Wii Remote. The Wii Remote docks discretely within the uDraw GameTablet, allowing the device to draw power directly from the Wii Remote. A convenient storage area hides the Wii Remote wrist strap and stylus when not in use.
The uDraw GameTablet also features tilt-and-roll movement options, allowing players to interact and control in-game characters by moving and directing them through game levels. Additionally, SD-card support enables players to save and print their artwork and other uDraw creations.
The uDraw GameTablet retails for $69.99 and comes bundled with uDraw Studio. In addition, THQ is releasing two video games designed especially for use with the uDraw GameTable: Dood's Big Adventure, a drawing-inspired side-scrolling adventure game, and Pictionary, which comes to video game consoles for the first time in more than two decades. Both Dood's Big Adventure and Pictionary retail for $29.99 each.
The uDraw GameTablet is expected to launch in Europe and other international territories beginning early next year. Additional uDraw video game titles are planned to release in 2011 and beyond.
