Star Wars: The Clone Wars brings the force to Wii and DS

LucasArts today announced Star Wars: The Clone Wars will launch on the Wii and Nintendo DS in Holiday 2008.

LucasArts today announced Star Wars: The Clone Wars will launch on the Wii and Nintendo DS in Holiday 2008.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels, in development by Krome Studios exclusively for the Wii, features an intuitive motion-controlled combat system that takes full advantage of the Wiimote.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance, developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS by the LucasArts Singapore team in conjunction with Lucasfilm Animation, features an innovative stylus-based input to control the Jedi’s movement and engage in Lightsaber combat.

The world premiere trailer for the games will debut exclusively on Spike TV’s “Game Trailers TV with Geoff Keighley” on Friday, June 20.
