Atlus U.S.A. today announced that METAL SLUG XX for PSP has blasted its way onto North American retail shelves at a bargain price of just $19.99.

Choose between six METAL SLUG characters and make your way through seven levels with varying obstacles, numerous enemies, and diverging paths. But that's not all as gamers will be able to play more than 70 mission-based trials in "Combat School."

If that's enough, you can also team up with a friend via ad-hoc multiplayer and blast your way through the various levels.

METAL SLUG XX also supports downloadable content, launching with Leona, a seventh playable character available via the PlayStation Store for 99 cents.
