Four new downloadable content packs for Gran Turismo 5 are now available.
Four new downloadable content (DLC) packs for Gran Turismo 5 (GT5), and one comprehensive "Complete Pack," are now available to purchase from the PlayStation Store across Europe, with a North American release scheduled for October 25. This new DLC joins the recently released GT5 Functionality Update 2.0.
With Update 2.0 already making significant improvements to GT5, the DLC packs add new content in the form of cars, tracks, special paint and racing gear.
The new "Racing Car Pack" includes a new iteration of the Red Bull X2011 and adds 11 new cars from Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and Dodge as well as three new bespoke karts.
Another addition to Gran Turismo 5 is that of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps track. Located in Belgium’s Ardennes forest, Spa is the venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and the famous Spa 24 Hours. The new track is available as part of the ‘Course Pack’ along with a new indoor karting arena which itself includes two layouts.
A new 100-color set of paints, that include new matte, chrome and polarised colors, makes up the "Special Paint Pack" while the "Racing Gear Pack" includes special racing gear with 25 new Gran Turismo design helmets and 15 race suits as well as new Simpson helmets and Alpinestars GP1 race suits.
Gamers will also have access to a famous driver pack from which they can select the race gear of drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson from Nascar; as well as rally drivers Petter Solberg, Sébastien Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen and Toni Gardemeister.
The DLC packs are available to purchase separately for or as a "Complete Pack" bundle at a reduced price:
Racing Car Pack - $7.99, €7.99
Course Pack- $4.99, €3.99
Racing Gear Pack - $2.99, €1.99
