Another week, another bunch of additions to Sony’s growing PlayStation Store.
Europe gets three PSOne downloadable games in this week's PlayStation Store update. Credit: Sony.
However, while most updates tend to see US gamers receiving the largest portion of gaming love from Sony’s download kitchen – something they’re more than accustomed to – it’s the oft-ignored, unappreciated, undervalued, and distinctly malnourished European contingent that appear to be getting the better meal this week.
Note the word better, not bigger. Indeed, while US gamers can still gloat and bloat over the largest update plate, the quality of what’s on the EU menu seems to be cordon bleu as opposed to a Happy Meal.
We digest, of course, but there is an argument to made that a demo for Conflict: Denied Ops, more DLC for Folklore, and additional Rock Band tracks simply cannot compete against fully downloadable games Motorhead, Theme Hospital, and the truly excellent Fade to Black.
Stop arguing. You’re clearly wrong. Enjoy your fries…
