Loads of new Gran Turismo 5 Prologue screens

When it comes to videogame genres, for every FIFA there’s a Pro Evolution Soccer, for every Call of Duty there’s a Medal of Honor, and for every Gran Turismo… well, there’s a Gran Turismo.
Long revered as the Gran-daddy of the racing scene, Gran Turismo exists as the one driving title that always seems to successfully drive its way clear of the chasing pack, which generally consists of the likes of Project Gotham Racing, Colin McRae, Need for Speed, and Forza Motorsport.
And, in a week that has seen the release of some extremely sexy screenshots for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, who are we to suggest that the PlayStation 3 won’t soon once again be playing host to the world’s best driving simulator?
Granted, detractors might point out the somewhat bumper-car physics of Prologue as revealed in existing trailer clips, but there’s little doubting the aesthetic power of the game and the established gameplay prowess of the series, the former of which is certainly in evidence through the following selection of tyre-shredding screens.
