For many, Ubisoft’s free-roaming futuristic epic Assassin’s Creed is somewhat of a flawed classic; flawed gameplay, flawed A.I., and flawed collision detection being just a taster of the niggling negativity that taints an otherwise superb slice of truly next-gen gaming.

Game to game, software releases are never without tiny quality issues that even the most stringent of Q&A departments is likely to miss before the game’s retail release – in this case, Assassin’s Creed just has a few more ‘issues’ than certain other leading titles of 2007 we could mention.
However, while some of Assassin’s Creed’s glitches are jarring and annoying (i.e. enemies being inexplicably catapulted high into the air following collapsing scaffold) a diligent poster at videogame media site GameTrailers has recorded and shared a more amusing A.I. error… at least, we think it’s an error.
If this particular gameplay clip is not an error, then a bored Ubisoft coder has duly added a laugh-out-loud, and somewhat rude, A.I. routine that allows city guards to engage in covert sessions of midday wall humping. You’ll see what we mean at around the 20-second point.
We don’t know what’s worse really, the crass act of brick-based sexual satisfaction, or that Altair is quite happy to stand and drink in the guard’s jackhammer hips. Eeew.
