i am sick and tired of you shitbox360 fans bithing about mgs4 its a ps3 exclusive deal with it
Guys are you kidding me MGS4 on XBOX? What would that take 15 DVD-9 discs no one would want it.Hideo has said himself that he had to squeze the game into that thing that supposedly only plays movies called BLU-RAY. See its not only meant for movies its meant for HD gaming and 50 Gigs of Space. If and its a Big if it where to ever make it to the XBOX it would have to be a shortened game extremely short. I play XBOX regulary becouse a friend own one and although the game library seemed nice last year this year has turned to null. Wich is why microsoft is fighting so hard to get all the grand theft auto gamers hooked on the xbox version. Its the only game that can sell them some consoles whell sony doenst need to worry as a previous blogger wrote sony has many many exclusives comming out this year. Another issu is the reliability of the XBOX no one can calim that its better thatn the rest we all know its a shamefull system when it comes to reliability it cant withstand 1 year of gaming on it. RROD is a sign that microsfot rushed to get the XBOX out before any other system at the cost of there FANBOYS that now have to fight hard to defen there stance. Blue ray in the XBOX not until the next system comes out but wait then microsoft would be liying they say they dont need blue ray wich is true if your talking movie downloads but blue ray is not only for movie DUH!!Any comment feel free but they fall on death ears as i seem to have more knowledge on the war that any of you!!
i think both systems have their ups and downs and both have good games i could careless which system gets what cos i plan to own all three systems the 360 the ps3 and the wii and those who say things like ps3 sucks or wii blows or 360 is trash are just mad cos that cant get their lazy butts out of theirs parents basement and people like them never will learn to just grow the f**k up!!!
Well Metal Gear Fans it seems we have a problem. I am a huge MGS fan and the fact of the matter is that for christmas I just happened to recieve a 360 and at the moment cant afford a PS3. It saddens me to know that MGS will not be coming out for the 360 and wish that in some way Sony, Hideo, and Microsoft could work things out for those unfourtunate 360 console owners.
You can keep dissing the 360 but it just so happens that it works fine although i am sad that i dont have a PS3 anyways we cant always get what we want.

the same has happened to me. i used be a playstation fan all the way and i probably would have bought a ps3. however now i own a 360 because it was cheaper and i wasnt gonna wait like 8 months for the ps3 to drop in price. during my time of owning a playstation i owned all of the MGS games and played them all 24/7 no matter how times i've completed them. but if times were different and the prices for both consoles (360 and ps3) i would buy a ps3. the reason i want MGS4 on 360 is that i dont waste like $600+ on a ps3 just to play metal gear. i reali do hate these fanboy remarks about the games available to a console. and who said that there will be like 15 DVD discs is bull becos kojima can put it onto 2 or 3 HD discs (as the 360 can play them but you need the disc port adn fine point to those who state this.) he'll end up doing it again for the ps3 anyway. plus if you MGS fans do ur homework MGS has come out for other consoles other than playstation 1,2 and 3, the first did start on playstation, fine but it was release again for the PC and again for Gamecube. MGS2 was released for ps2 , xbox and PC. however MGS3 was a stand alone console because the sales for other platforms were not good enough.
to add to the above comment the mgs series did not start on the playstation but rather the original nintendo console. i wouldnt mind seeing mgs4 on 360, saves me money for other things important in life, besides it would be a great financial move for konami. not only would they have ps3 gamers they would also have 360 gamers as well.
Iv got a solution to the xbox guys that want mgs4, sell that shity xbox and games, addon hd player and hard drive and all the other crap that goes with it. then after you have sold that junk buy your selfs a ps3, then you can play mgs4, problem solved.
I give +1,000,000,000,000,000 to the following users: The Philosiphers, AV81, and Sean. These guys know what they’re talking about. There is no possible way whatsoever that MGS4 is coming to the 360. Now, for 360 fanboys, I give you a few options.
1) Quit your bitching. MGS4 is not coming for the 360 and it will never come to the 360. Ever. EVER. Besides, there is no proof. Don’t even bother talking about that XboxFamily “news report”, because it has just been shot down by Konami and Kojima, who, I remind you, ARE MAKING THIS DAMN GAME! This isn’t “marketing at its best” or a “smoke and mirrors ploy”. It’s not happening. It’s not coming to the 360. EVER.
2) And for the (very) few Xbox fanboys who actually give two shits about MGS, you can go out and buy a PS3. Don’t bitch about how you don’t have enough money. Remember, eBay is your friend.
Seriously, when you guys are 20 years older, you are probably going to look at this and wonder why the hell you wasted your time. So will I, but at least I’m trying to bring these people out of their denial, like most of the other users (see above).
It’s not coming to the 360. It won’t come to the 360 now, and it won’t come to the 360 in the future. Grow up. Accept it. Move on. Play Halo or something and quit bothering the people who see the truth.

aw crap, this is really disapointing, i was hoping it will come for the 360, i've started to love Mgs when i played the portable, & got hooked up with the storyline, my friend told me that it will come for the 360, then this came up, then pow, no Metal Gear. I'm actually an xbox dude, but i consider the Ps3 one of the best prominent game consoles to date, both of them actually have good things & bad things right?, so like there's no need to fight about wich one's better, games are tearing us apart. Oh, when i read the message that konami is loyal to Sony,correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't there a MGS 2 on the Xbox?
yes, there was, and it sold poorly, not to mention it wasn't all that great anyway. that's why 360 won't get mgs4. even if they did, it really would be horrible. the 360 disc only has 9 gb compared to the 50 gb that the game took up on a dual-layer blu-ray disc. not very much would fit. if you don't have a ps3, don't worry, they're still out there. if you don't have the money, like i was saying before, ebay is the answer to all of life's problems lol.

Thats just the big exclusives and just in the next year. Likelihood is MGS 4 will be making it to 360. Theres about twice as many 360's out there as there are ps3's, how could any developer pass up the option to triple their sales? Anyways, I don't want to attack anyone, just putting the facts out there.

By the way, I don't agree with the whole 'Xbox gets exclusive titles all the time, let us PS players enjoy this' crap. Why? Because I believe ALL GAMES should be available across the spectrum. If it isn't in the company's budget to do so, I can understand. But Konami isn't going bankrupt anytime soon and Metal Gear Solid is a MAJOR gaming franchise. It can be done.
on the comment of The Philosiphers (if that is your real name) look i own a 360 i picked it over the ps3 for many reasons but one of the things that was makeing it hard for me to pick was because of MGS4...i was all about the ps2 over the xbox i loved the games on the ps2 wayyyyyy more the then xbox but now 360 has the quality games and it has a more organized online exp. (which lately i become to love) and even if MGS4 never gets to the 360 its not like the ps3 sales will surpass the 360, and for the simple fact name me 5 top sellers the are exclusive on the ps3..........anyone??? and also the 360 have gears of war eff gaylo 3 we have gears of efffing war (and in november gears of war 2) also i will play and beat MGS4 (no matter what even if i HAVE to get a gaystaion 3) i love the series and have bear each of them more then once cant wait till they seemingly end the series
To be honest, this game could be so big in terms of size that it might become multidisk if it ever comes out for the 360.

I own a xbox 360 i love it yu guys that keep dissing each others consoles let me tell you straight xbox 360 is an excellent console its affordable some really nice exclusives and xbox has gotta be the better console for playing with your mates having arguments with weird people from germany :)
Now the ps3 very nice has a blu ray drive built in wifi ect nice exclusies mgs4, gran turismo 5
Basically if you wanna play the game at the best possible experience get a ps3 if you wanna play with your mates get a xbox no console is better i can tell you that the ps3 is full of problems so is the xbox
PS3: blu ray u really think this is gonna take off nah look what happened to umb a full movie on such a small disc it was a flop
