Let me be the first to point out the error of the churches way. Making a fuss over this scene in the game is giving sony free publicity. Now everyone is intereste in the game!

references: the debacle over that book whose title I can no longer remember it was rather obscure and probably not very good (I don't know as I never read it, I swear on my own grave!)

But isn’t it, Mr Blair’s governments lack of action, that is filling the streets of Manchester and other cities with gun wielding aliens.

Just shows that Tony Blair will jump on any bandwagon for abit of publicity
Does anyone actually know what they are talking about? You are fighting aliens. With laser guns. Inside a makeshift hospital inside Manchester Cathedral. Defending it, I repeat, from aliens. Now, quite possibly, if Manchester had an alien problem then it would be bad taste, but saying 'in light of Manchester's gun problems' is just ridiculous and pretty darn stupid if you ask me. I wish these people would actually have a look at the thing they are talking about before making a media hype

Of course, the Christian Church was never violent - apart from a few hundred thousand alleged witches burned at the stake or hanged in 300 years of terror, the Inquisition and the conquest of South America, not forgeting the Crusades -which was mass murder of the innocents.

They should have programmed in a deranged Pope, with a machine gun, trying to kill the good guys. Isn't that what the church has been about all these centuries anyway?

I Have Not Personally Played This Game Yet But With This I WOuld Love To Play It Not Only For The Game Itself But To Find The Manchester Cathedral. The Church Is Blowing This Way Out Of Porportion, To Really Think That Anyone Playing The Game Would Actually Reconize The Cathedral Unless Previously Aquanted with the Building. And Of Course Gamers Are Not Purchasing The Game To Go And Find It To Set Off Grenades To 'Desecrate' The Church. I Believe The Church Is Trying To Get Some Publicity Or Attempting To Have Leway In Something Other Than Religion. Instead It Merely Backfiring On Them Yes Sony Should Have Cleared The Use Of The Cathedral First But What Can Be Done Now? Change the Outgoing Copies Of It, What Does That Matter With The Millons Of Copies Already Out There? Its Simply Idiotic To Make A Fuss Especially Now Months After The Games Release
