'Back to the Future: The Game' now available for PC, Mac

Telltale Games today announced the launch of Back to the Future: The Game, with the first of five monthly downloadable chapters available now for PC and Mac.

The game brings Marty McFly, Doc Brown and the DeLorean back together in a brand new adventure that takes place six months after the events of the third film. The DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley and Marty must go back in time for help from a resistant teenage Emmett Brown, or else the space-time continuum will be forever unraveled.

System requirements for PC:

Processor: 1.8 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Video Card: ATI or NVidia card w/ 256 MB RAM
Direct X: Direct X 9.0c
Audio card required

Processor: 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Video Card: ATI or NVidia card w/ 512 MB RAM
Direct X: Direct X 9.0c

On PC and Mac, the full five-episode Back to the Future: The Game series sells for $24.95 from www.backtothefuturegame.com, with new episodes releasing monthly. Customers get both platforms for this price.

The first episode is expected to release for PS3 via PlayStation Network and iPad early in the new year.
