'Alien Breed 2: Assault' blasts its way onto XBLA, Steam

Alien Breed 2: Assault will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade and for PC, via Steam, beginning September 22, 2010.
Team17 today announced the official release date of Alien Breed 2: Assault on Xbox LIVE Arcade and for PC, via Steam, as September 22, 2010.
Alien Breed 2: Assault is the second chapter in the Alien Breed series, and is a science fiction arcade-shooter developed using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3. Players take control of Conrad, Chief Engineer aboard the Leopold ship, and continue his fight for survival across the fatally damaged space vessel. His only hope relies on reigniting the alien spacecraft’s engines, but to do this he will have to survive waves of alien assaults. In addition to the single-player campaign and all new “Survivor” modes, the game also offers two-player online co-operative battle modes.
