'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' demo continues to dominate; surpasses 3.5 million downloads

DICE today announced that the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo has been played by over 3.5 million people.
DICE, an Electronic Arts studio, today announced that the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been played by over 3.5 million people – and the game hasn’t even shipped yet.
Available for a limited time, the demo will expire in six days so players interested in getting a taste of the action should download it before February 25th. After that date, the DICE servers will shut down, and shift to support the game launch on March 2nd.
The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo is available on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network for free. A PC demo is available to those who pre-order the game. The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo offers players early access to the Port Valdez map and Rush Multiplayer mode.

In the Limited Edition version of the game, players get early access to six unlockable items such as improved vehicle armor, advanced weapons and superior fire power. The Limited Edition is available at no extra charge, but is in limited supply.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be in stores on March 2, 2010 in North America and March 4, 2010 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.
