LOL! They said that about Halo, Halo2, AND Gears of War. When sales for the XBox 360 start to trickle, they WILL release a PC version 'being the money hounds they are' to soak up any additional business they can do with their now spent product. They just want to try to get more people to buy their Game System so they make people believe that a much desired game like Halo Wars is exclusive to their platform. Hey, it's business. Why would they kill 360 sales by telling you a PC version will eventually come out?

How can Microsoft be so stooopid. They will make so much more money if they release it on pc, rts's were born for computer not consoles. Battle For Middle Earth II on Xbox sucked sooooooo much, it is too hard to control.

RTS were made for PCs not consoles
I mean seriosly that just dumb
I would buy it for PC
and besides, nearly everyone has a PC and anyone who has played Halo 1,2, or 3 knows how good it is, as i have at freinds houses.

I tryed playing Age Of Empires on PS2 once and I could complete the tutorial campain.

but they will see sence soon and realise how dumb they are.

microsoft are idiots to not make this on pc. rts games suck on consoles. i would rather crap my pants and then mix it with baby food and apple sauce and then feed it to a little kid.

Hmm i played command & conquer on console, it was terrible. I guess since halo wars is not going to be on pc, i'll just have to spend all my time playing Starcraft 2 :)

That sounds great!

Are they saying, Halo Wars will only run on 'Windows 7'.

With Windows 7 due around this time next year,
this seems like another MS marketing strategy.

It will be on PC eventually, probably in about a year, however no one will be interested in it by then anyway. Whats with all you PC fan boys bashing the 360. GIVE IT UP!! the 360 isn't a bad console. For all the people that can't afford an expensive gaming PC the 360 is a good alternative.

i love this sort of games but i like to play them on console because with pc games u have buy memory graphic card and so on with console its 1 time fee and u can play all the games i think they will make halo wars for pc in year or 2 but not everyone is pc gamer xbox control is simple easy to work out with keyboard and mouse its more to do


halo wars for pc u would need really powerfull pc = more money

RTS games are not ment for consoles. PC's will always have the best selling RTS games. I will not buy this game for xbox.

I played the demo the other day and for those who are worried about the controls, I think they work just fine. This is going to be one hell of game and will set a new standard for RTS games on consoles.

This is BS that Halo Wars won't be for the PC. The first 2 games are on the pc now and the third will be aswell, plus an RTS was first designed for the pc not a game counsel!

Microsoft has screwed themselfs by not making Halo Wars for the PC as well.

Microsoft make it for the PC and I will buy it at any price, that is how much I love the Halo series.

i played the demo of it its pretty good, better than aoe 3 but not as good as aom (age of mythologie). oh and they have aoe on the ds its awsome

You guys are gonna have to be patient. It will eventually be released on pc, but it's going to take time. Ms said the exact same thing about both halo games and they ended up on pc. Just give it about a year and once sales for halo war have slowed down the pc version will be released. If you can't wain that long buy a 360, there pretty cheap now a days.
