Details announced for Aussie Strogg and GDF pre-ordering.

Starting April 4th, Australian gamers may pre-order Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Splash Damage and id software’s anticipated multiplayer shooter, from EB Games and GAME (formerly Game Wizards.)

The word on the street is “only a few thousand pre-order packs will be offered in Australia.”

Pre-order participants receive a special bonus as well as just insuring they’ll get a copy – pre-ordered gamers will have access to advance username registration and will receive a Quake Wars poster (each retail chain has their own unique poster to give away), as well as the first two collector's cards from the full set of twelve.

Each card features artwork and information on a Strogg or GDF vehicle or deployable.

When the game itself ships in Australia, it will come in two varieties, with a standard edition, as well as a Limited Collector's Edition available with fancy packaging, the remaining ten collector's cards, a bonus DVD and other goodies.

The pre-order campaign is available for either edition.

Pre-order is already available for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars in the US and has a ship date of June 5, 2007.
