Now you have a new reason to avoid the sun!

Blizzard yesterday made the Burning Crusade - the first expansion for World of Warcraft - available for download on the World of Warcraft website. Though the Burning Crusade has sold over two million copies, there are over eight million players currently taking part in the world of Warcraft, and so this move is no doubt designed to reach out to the other six million and give them even less incentive to go outside.

The upgrade is available for existing World of Warcraft players, and costs $39.99. You can download it for either PC or Mac, in English, German, Spanish, or French.

You can check out Monsters and Critics' take on the new expansion here to see if it's worth your precious bandwidth.
