With the Nintendo Switch launch one week away many were wondering if the eShop would be ready in time and if any exclusive indie games would be available to download on day one.
Rest easy, folks, as Nintendo has confirmed that the eShop will be open for business March 3 with the following downloadable indie games: Fast RMX, Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove.
In case those games don’t interest you, there will be more than 60 indie games available in 2017, along with digital versions of retail games and downloadable content for said games.
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, developed by Yacht Club Games, is a retro 2D side-scrolling platformer.
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, also by Yacht Club Games, includes the original Shovel Knight game, Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, and all previously released downloadable content.
Both Shovel Knight titles will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch for a limited time.
Fast RMX, developed by Shin’en Multimedia, is a futuristic racing game that supports local split-screen and online multiplayer.
