'Rocksmith' now available for Xbox 360, PS3

Rocksmith is now available throughout North America for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ubisoft today announced that Rocksmith is now available at retail throughout North America for $79.99, which includes the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, a 1/4” to USB cable that turns the guitar’s signal from analog to digital, allowing it to be recognized and played through video game consoles for the first time. A separete bundle, available for $199.99, includes an Epiphone Les Paul Jr guitar, along with the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. 

Rocksmith features gameplay that automatically adjusts to the player’s skill level, and will engage experienced musicians as well as those who are picking up a guitar for the first time. Players will be able to choose from actual lead, rhythm, and combo guitar compositions.
