'Duke Nukem Forever' Delayed... Again.
By Hector Cortez Mar 25, 2011, 2:04 GMT

The release of Duke Nukem Forever has been pushed back yet again.
2K Games and Gearbox Software announced today that the release of Duke Nukem Forever has been pushed back to June 10, 2011 internationally and June 14, 2011 in North America.
For those who don't know, Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for fourteen years. After countless delays, developer 3D Realms simply stated the game would be released "when it's ready." Cut to 2010 and 3D Realms has folded, with the franchise being acquired by 2K Games and development being handed over to Gearbox Software. So it's only fitting that Duke Nukem Forever, previously set for a May release, is delayed one last time.
It's also worth noting that the North American release takes place the Tuesday following the annual E3 Expo where Duke will no doubt have a large presence, serving as a last minute media push.
"I'm very sorry for the added delay. We've all been working extremely hard and are very eager to deliver the game to you," said Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software. He also made a YouTube video to accompany the bad news, which is embedded below.
Duke Nukem Forever will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and is rated M for Mature.
