Angry Birds Rio now available on iOS, Mac and Android platforms.
Rovio today announced the availability of Angry Birds Rio on iOS, Mac and Android platforms.
Starting today, the game can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, from the Mac App Store for Mac computers, and for Android devices in the Amazon Appstore.
The game was developed in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox, and features the characters of the studio’s upcoming film, RIO, which debuts in theaters on April 15.
Angry Birds Rio will also be available in the Ovi Store for Symbian smartphones and the Palm App Catalog for Palm WebOS devices on April 8.
Angry Birds Rio features two episodes and 60 levels, and new episodic updates based on the motion picture RIO will be provided throughout the year. New playable characters, new achievements and unlockable secrets are also included.
In Angry Birds Rio, animal smugglers have kidnapped the Angry Birds and taken them to magical city of Rio, where they escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming film RIO.
