Korea Invades America in 'Homefront' for Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Homefront is now available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
THQ's highly-anticipated shooter Homefront, which depicts the invasion and occupation of America by a nuclear-armed Greater Korean Republic in the year 2027, is now available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The story was written by John Milius, writer of Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn, and was advised by a former CIA Officer, who helped THQ devise a plausible course of events that would lead to the fall of the United States and the rise of North Korea.
Interestingly enough, several story elements have actually come to pass in the last twelve months, including the expected succession of Kim Jong-il's son, Kim Jong-un to supreme ruler of North Korea. Also, North Korea recently claimed to have developed the technology for an Electro Magnetic Pulse, or 'EMP' - a weapon capable of knocking out all electronic devices, including computers, phones and power lines, on a country-wide level. In Homefront's story, the Greater Korean Republic uses this weapon to cripple the United States in advance of a full-blown invasion.
Homefront made headlines in Australia last week as an advert on YouTube (embedded below) featuring clips from the Homefront 'Future History' trailer caused frightened members of the public to phone in to news networks, believing an actual invasion was taking place (similar to Orson Welles' famed "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast in 1938).
