Augmented Reality Game 'Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary' Gets Updated
By Hector Cortez Feb 28, 2011, 22:57 GMT

Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary is a free-to-play game for the iPhone.
To celebrate this week's Game Developers Conference, Ogmento, an augmented reality gaming company, is adding a city-specific layer to its recently released location-based game, Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary.
Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary is a free-to-play game for the iPhone inspired by the film franchise. Its geo-social elements, augmented reality and user-generated content transform a player's home town, office or neighborhood into part of the game.
Players in San Francisco will be recruited by the game's characters to join their side as either one of the Demonologists, or one of the Possessed in a battle of good versus evil.
In addition, Ogmento has placed real world missions for players to explore at actual San Francisco haunted locations -- providing them with additional spells and resources. Those who complete various missions will be rewarded with both virtual and real world prizing including Blu-ray DVDs, and merchandise.
Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary is currently available for free via the App Store.
