'Angry Birds Rio' Announced, March Release Planned

ANGRY BIRDS RIO will launch worldwide in March.
ANGRY BIRDS and RIO, an upcoming animated film, are joining forces to create ANGRY BIRDS RIO, a first-of-its-kind game development partnership between publisher Rovio and Twentieth Century Fox.
ANGRY BIRDS RIO will launch worldwide in March, coinciding with RIO’s gala world premiere event. The film will be in theaters April 15.
In ANGRY BIRDS RIO, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the city of Rio, where they eventually escape and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the film.
ANGRY BIRDS RIO will launch with 45 dedicated levels and will regularly add new levels via app updates. The game will be available for download on smart phones and tablets worldwide.
