'Final Fantasy XIII-2' announced for Xbox 360, PS3

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will feature a brand-new story.
Square Enix today announced Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, set for release next winter for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will feature a brand-new story which stems from the previous title, an improved battle system and more, which will be disclosed in the future.
Over 97 million Final Fantasy units have shipped worldwide since its debut in 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
Square Enix has not yet released any screenshots or video. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Final Fantasy XIII.
