The winners of the 28th Annual Golden Joystick Awards were announced today in London.

The winners of the 28th Annual Golden Joystick Awards were announced today with Mass Effect 2, Plants vs. Zombies and the Call of Duty franchise among the varied winners.

The "Ultimate Game of the Year" award, along with "RPG of the Year," went to Bioware's Mass Effect 2. Plants vs. Zombies from Popcap Games nabbed the “Download Game of the Year” and “Strategy Game of the Year” awards. Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 won "Shooter of the Year” while the forthcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops was awarded “One to Watch."
