I agree its annoying that the release date has been pushed back. This is nothing new from EA however so I no longer expect EA titles until I see them in stores.
All in all I've looked over what has been released and Sims 3 promises to be a great game. I'm just worried that load times, lag and rendering won't be a large problem as they have been in previous versions.
All in all I can't wait to start recreating my favourite Sims, houses and storylines in this new interactive, interconnected and interdependent social system created.
I'm extremly disapointed as well.. make up your mind EA... ugh~

I pre-ordered my game on Jan. 4, and then I was supposed to get it Feb. 18 from Amazon, and now I have to wait until JUNE! Damn shit!
WTF! I don't even think there is even a Sims 3 Game, because they continue to put off the release date again and again.
They think this is going to make the game sell more copies?
This is going to ruin them. I'm not going to buy it now! It's probably full of glitches and problems.

But the Sims 3 website says that a bunch of pre-order stuff has to be redeemed by April. So that really doesn't make sense.
I love the Sims and even though they are making me wait again, I only hope that its worth it!!

Ive been waiting for so long and counting down the days, I even decided to unload my sims 2 already to make room on my computer, and now, I cant re-install any of the expansion packs...
EA, come on.. it better be worth it.

I'm so annoyed as well! How is this a nice way of treating their loyal customers by postponing it for supposeably no other reason then to bring awareness of the games release. If I wasn't so obsessed with the Sims I would boycott it!

I thought I was tripping when I look up the release date to confirm it again and it said June 2! I'm like i was planning this friday to spend the day palying sims. I have heard all these great things and watching all the trailers and playing sims 2 i know it's going to be something great. I was very disappointed!

Im not happy either, have been paying this off for months and was looking forward to getting it. My daughters bday is tomorrow, she will be so disappointed now.
I'm very dissapointed aswell. I was exited when I found out that The sims 3 would be released Feb 20th. And all of a sudden I find out from this site and several others, that it won't be in stores until June 2th-5th, all depending on where you're from.
Why do they need more time to publish their game? It's not like this will make em sell more copies,they sold 100 million copies of The sims 2 and I don't rememeber as many 'push backs' for The sims 2.EA are, in my eyes, just pissing us off and hoping it will bring em more PR.
Damn EA, release the game and give us a chance to enjoy this game, instead of wasting our time with push backs, that are given for absolutly no good reason!

my friends birthday is the 20th and we were gonna have a party and play sims all day. but noooo EA has to be friggen idiots and just push the date back.i hope this makes them sell less copies.when my friend told me i tought she was kidding but whatever.i hate EA

well i was looking forward to this game. date has been changed 3 times now and just look at all the false advertisement. i wont be buying this game anymore. plus it will be just like all the other sims games and all the expansions will be pretty much the same. not going to keep paying for the same games over and over again. alot of other fun games out there. sorry EA but you have failed

GameStop told me it was coming out today and I checked with them two days ago to make sure that it was still coming in today. And it's not!? WTF is this!?
