Codemasters today announced the upcoming release of the first downloadable content pack for Race Driver: GRID, with the reveal of the ‘8 Ball’ pack coming this Fall for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The 8 Ball pack will feature eight new cars and two new online events.
‘8 Ball’ DLC Pack Cars:
1) McLaren F1 GTR 2) TVR Cerbera Speed 12 3) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X 4) Honda S2000 5) Nissan GT-R (S-G2008) 6) VW Nardo 7) Pontiac Firebird Trans AM 8) Volvo C30
On Xbox 360, the pack will also feature four new Achievements worth a total of 100 points to earn from four new competitive challenges:
1) Jack Of All Trades – Win an online race in each of the 8 Ball pack cars – 25pts2) Drift Master - Achieve a 99x combo in the Honda S2000 – 25pts3) Gas Guzzler - Clock up over 250 miles in your favourite 8 Ball pack car– 25pts4) Clean Passing - Win a clean race in an 8 Ball Pack car from last position – 25pts
Details for downloadable content for the Games for Windows edition of Race Driver: GRID will be announced shortly.
Further content is expected to be released for the game, including a V8 Supercars pack featuring Ford and Holden cars and the Bathurst circuit, later this year.
