Five new Oblivion: Shivering Isles screenshots posted

The new screenshots from the latest Elder Scrolls expansion feature giant mushrooms, strange creatures, madness.
We've posted five new screenshots for the forthcoming expansion to Oblivion, Shivering Isles. The screenshots feature the triumphant return of giant mushrooms - prominent features in Oblivion's predecessor Morrowind but sadly removed from the game world for the latest incarnation of the Elder Scrolls saga. The screenshots can be found here.
Shivering Isles is slated for a Spring 2007 release and sends the players to the Realm of Sheogorath - a weird and sinister world created from two sides of a god's madness. Over a dozen new creatures will inhabit the bizarre landscapes and twisting mazes of the Realm, including hideous insects, Flesh Atronachs, skeletal Shambles, and amphibious Grummites.
