By Hector Cortez Jun 29, 2011, 23:35 GMT

Kirby\'s Dream Land is now available on Nintendo 3DS via the Nintendo eShop.
Kirby's Dream Land is open for visitors as it launches on Nintendo 3DS via download in the Nintendo eShop.
Set in the once tranquil location of Dream Land, Kirby must stop King Dedede and his band of thieves after they stole the Dream Lander’s Sparkling Stars. Use Kirby to leap, jump and fly through this side scrolling platformer.
In order for Nintendo 3DS owners to gain access to the Nintendo eShop, a system update must be performed via a wireless broadband internet connection. To perform the free system update, Nintendo 3DS users can simply:
1.) Start the System Settings from the Home Menu
2.) Select Other Settings and scroll the page right to select System Update.
Performing the system update will allow users to access a free download of Excitebike for a limited time period up until July 7, 2011. Also available for free download from the Nintendo eShop is the new Pokédex 3D application. Start collecting data for more than 150 Pokémon from the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White Version games. This new application lets users see each Pokémon in 3D with animated motion and sound.
The system update will also provide users with access to a free Internet Browser, the ability to receive SpotPass content from supported public WiFi hotspots, as well as providing Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL owners the ability to easily transfer most of their previously purchased Nintendo DSiWare games to their Nintendo 3DS systems.
