Former Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent told no by the Supreme Court

Former Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent (who also found meager success with solo projects and a new band after leaving Kiss) has his appeal turned down by the Supreme Court on Monday. Vincent had filed an appeal with the court over a royalties dispute with his former Kiss bandmates(including Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons).

Supreme Court Justices decided not to consider a lower court decision that dismissed the guitarist claims that he was owed money for his work on Kiss’ 1983 album ‘Lick It Up.’

Vincent played and toured with Kiss from 1982-1984, and helped write some of the band’s songs during that time period – including “I Love it Loud,” and “Lick it Up.”
