Emma Stone to join Carell and Gosling

Emma Stone is in final talks to star in Warner Bros.’ untitled comedy opposite Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling.

Story centers on a father (Carell) whose life falls apart while he deals with marital problems and his children. Stone would portray the daughter of Carell’s character and the love interest to Gosling’s character.

According to Variety, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are directing from Dan Fogelman’s script.

The film will be produced by Denise Di Novi and Carell under his Carousel production company. Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres are executive producing.

Stone was recently in “Zombieland” and can be seen in the upcoming drama “Paper Man.” Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
